Early Beginnings

Our story began at Michigan farmer's markets back in 2007. We spent those early years connecting with our community and sharing our freeze-drying experiments, from fruit chips to ice cream scoops. Although raising a family and demanding careers eventually put our small business on hold, the passion for what we had started never really left.

A New Direction

In 2020, unexpected layoffs at our jobs during the pandemic brought us to a crossroads. With our facility and expertise already in place, we decided to pivot and pour our energy back into the work we loved. After months of testing and perfecting new ideas, Popside Candy officially launched in 2021.

 

Built on Community

Our founder, Jeff, lived in San Diego and hit the ground running by sharing our candy puffs at markets and fairs across California. That firsthand feedback from our customers was essential in helping us craft the highest quality treats possible. Today, we are proud to have won state-wide competitions and collaborated with other amazing brands, but our favorite part remains connecting with the thousands of snackers who make this journey possible.
